PasKluis Terms of Use

1. Provider and service

PasKluis is provided by Ronald Bakker and Jordi Doppenberg. Contact: info@paskluis.com.

PasKluis helps you store and display loyalty cards, QR codes and gift card details. We do not issue these cards or hold their balances. The issuer's terms also govern validity, acceptance, expiry and spending. A recorded balance is not a guaranteed current balance with the issuer.

2. Careful use

Where possible, retain your original card and proof of purchase. Check entered and scanned details. Secure your device and account and keep passwords, card codes and PINs confidential. Only use cards you are authorised to use. Report suspected misuse promptly to the issuer and, where it concerns PasKluis, to us.

3. Loss, theft and sharing

Anyone with a usable card code and any required PIN may be able to spend the balance. Only share with someone you trust. Revoking shared access does not erase previous copies or screenshots or reverse spending.

After loss or theft, only the issuer can determine whether blocking, replacement or reimbursement is available. PasKluis cannot block a card with its issuer or restore spent or stolen value.

Loss, theft or misuse does not automatically entitle you to compensation from PasKluis. Our liability depends on the cause, our obligations and applicable law. We do not exclude liability imposed on us by law, including where damage results from a fault attributable to us in the app, security or data processing.

4. Storage and backup

Cards are stored on your device. Without a successful backup, data may be lost when a device is lost, damaged, erased or replaced. Cloud backup is optional. Check the status and date of your last successful backup. Only successfully stored data can be restored; later changes and received shared cards may be missing. Backups do not restore spent balances. We remain responsible for the service working as you can reasonably expect.

5. Free use and Plus

The app offers free features and optional Plus features. Current features and prices are shown before purchase. Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple or Google processes payment. Restore purchases using the correct store account if your purchase is missing, or contact us. Statutory rights to remedies, refunds and any applicable withdrawal period remain unaffected.

6. Privacy and support

Our separate privacy notice explains processing and retention of personal data. It is available in Settings and at https://www.paskluis.com/en/privacy.html. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to optional processing. Location, notifications and backup have their own choices.

The app has no mandatory acceptance screen on startup. Opening the app is not recorded as explicit acceptance. Contact support in the app or info@paskluis.com.

7. Changes and your rights

The current text remains available in Settings. Changes do not apply retroactively. You can save or share the text. Contact us with questions, including help safeguarding existing data and exercising any purchase rights.

Dutch law applies without affecting mandatory consumer protections applicable to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
